The Old Black Horse Inn

Good central location, five mins walk from the O2 Academy. Gated parking on site. Olde world charm and a decent selections of beer at the bar. The owner/landlord was extremely helpful - telling me the best route out of the city in order to avoid congestion and clean air charges. Fan and bottled water in the room which was most welcome today!

I always prefer somewhere that does food, especially breakfast. Definitely no breakfast here and I don't think the bar was serving meals either. I knew this in advance but too close to arrival to find somewhere else. Lots of eateries close by instead. It was 32 degC today so was very uncomfortable. I had a fan but was too loud to have on all night and then the road sweeper arrived at 05:30. None of this was the fault of the Inn of course, although maybe not the best choice in a heatwave - look for AC!

Very central location, . Staff were really helpful when we had a shower issues , resolved with room change very quickly !!

Location was very good. Ok bed and nice towels.

It’s an old property with wonky quirky stairs and rooms. windows in our room were not double glazed making every noise out side quite disturbing. No food is available a lack of choices behind the bar, big TV’s
