Dinner was excellent and the staff attentive. Good location for wine buying.
The room was very spartan. No soft chairs to sit on. The breakfast was nothing like dinner and very dull.

Only a bath with a handheld shower in our room so hard to stop the water spraying around the room because the shower pressure was high.

Reception staff were welcoming and professional. The room rate of €130 felt reasonable, and some elements of the dinner were quite good.
The room felt as though it had been closed for some time and had an unpleasant smell on arrival, and the toilet was not properly cleaned. The restaurant offered only a “surprise” menu with no alternative options; while some dishes were enjoyable, others felt a little unusual in flavour and presentation. The wine list was largely focused on higher price points with limited mid-range choice, and although a sommelier was mentioned, we did not receive any guidance. We also felt the service from some of the younger staff lacked warmth and attentiveness, and overall did not quite reflect the standard we were expecting.
