The property is full of charm and character. It is very different to other accommodation that we have stayed in, being a very old farm complex with various rooms and living quarters delightfully tucked away in different areas. And the hospitality was second to none. We felt so warmly welcome, not only on arrival but throughout our stay. It was wonderful to be able to engage with our hosts throughout the day as we sat by the beautiful pool or made use of the very well stocked library/sitting area. Nothing was too much trouble for them, providing wonderful recommendations for the surrounding area and being very patient with my poor French! The Mas is a quiet and peaceful environment which feels almost other worldly - almost like stepping back in time in some ways. We loved exploring the local area, but could quite happily have just stayed at the accommodation relaxing, reading the innumerable books and soaking up the historic atmosphere. The pets on site (Didou the dog and Chatouille the cat) were also a great hit with our two girls.
We visited in mid-summer when it was extremely hot. While our room had a fan, there is no air conditioning (not surprising given the historic nature of the property) so it was very warm overnight. Helpfully the bed was equipped with a mosquito net, so it was possible to have windows open to aid air flow.

Plenty of rustic charm. Good pool. Friendly hosts. Large apartment for family. Very good evening meal.
The room was very hot and no one slept more than a few hours. The apartment connected directly to the reception area which wasn’t locked. I doubt there’s any crime at all in the area but it would have been nice to feel more secure.
