Our host was friendly and easy to communicate with. The apartment is large, bright with nice balcony, good value for price. With a little work it could be a very nice apartment. The neighbourhood was very local, safe and friendly. Easy transportation (Colectivo's) right in front of the apartment to go into Zehua centro (12 Pesos) or Ixtapa (17 pesos), same to return. Taxis stand one block away with prices listed. Small stores and a fresh tortilla shop across the street came in handy. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and would return.
The following comments are made by a retired couple, so keep that in mind... The apartment can be loud at night, Single pane widows let street noise in. Metal chairs in overhead apartment are very annoying as they were dragged across the tile floors (Stick-on furniture felt would solve this) The Couch is old and uncomfortable. The kitchen supplies need updating (Frying pans especially) There is no hot water, warm at best in late afternoon. The front door handle does not work correctly, Frond door will open on its own. The front door deadbolt needs key on inside to lock (Hazard in an emergency) No lock on sliding door, bedroom door drags on floor. Toilet takes forever to fill (calcium buildup maybe?). All easily fixed in my humble opinion

Big room, beautiful view from balconies. Has everything you need.
Kitchen appliances quite worn. Neither of the provided lighter nor matchsticks worked so we had to buy our own lighter to use the stove.

El lugar es increíble, cuenta con todas las comodidades para una estancia tranquila y sin preocupaciones, desde la cama hasta el refri, los balcones, las tienditas súper cercanas y la calidez de la gente local.
La ubicación es genial, se puede llegar caminando al centro y muchos sitios interesantes, además es muy fácil encontrar transporte, comida y por supuesto muchísima diversión.
¡Sin duda volveremos!

I enjoyed living among the locals. it was lively during the day and quiet at night. The mattress was firm and very confortable.
I took advantage of the collectivos passing in front to go to centro and to ixtapa.
the hosts Julita and Poto were easily available for help and service.
the kitchen had a very limited choice in pots and pans.
