Benny's Rooms Brussels City Centre

Good location, just a few minutes walk from the pedestrian streets of Brussels. Free tea and coffee available in the common area, as well as various snacks. Free toothbrushes, socks, razors, earplugs, and other toiletries in the room. Easy self check-in and check-out.

The room was very small with no bedside tables, no wardrobe (just a rack) and not enough space to open the suitcases. There were a couple of cabinets but they were locked. There was just a very small mirror on the door. It would have been handier to have a bigger one. The room wasn't soundproofed at all. During the night we woke up because people in the room in front of ours were talking and laughing. The stairs to our room (located in the basement) were very narrow and steep with no railing. You also have to mind your head. A bit tricky to carry up and down your suitcase. The shared bathroom was really small as well with no shelves or hooks for towels or clothes. The shampoo and shower gel weren't labelled so we had to guess which one was what. The cookies and crisps in the common area were served in a big bowl, open, which makes it a bit unhygienic and makes them dry out.

Location was a little bit tricky.

Location was excellent, apartment was modern and clean. The host was very thoughtful with all the small touches in the room/shared dining area (tea, coffee and snacks downstairs were a treat!)

We had a room on the top floor with a sloped roof so there's little room to move with two people in there without bumping your head.

The stairs where too narrow and unstable, the location was different as stated in the Listing. The room smelled extreme of cleaning supplies when entering. The welcome basket was a bunch of plastic stuff.
