About this cabin rental
Built in 1890, our guest house was the original homestead on the property. A little bigger than a tiny home cabin that’s been completely remodeled. A retreat up in the mountains, not far from town…. (About 10-15 mins to Post Falls & 20-25 mins to downtown CDA) Surrounded by Wildlife, you may be greeted by Deer, Elk, Moose, Turkey, Chickens, Goats, or very friendly Dogs.
Located near an Elk Farm; so many things to see surrounded by nature.
Just a few minutes down the mountain to the freeway.
Not quite a tiny home... an addition was added on back in the 80's...fully remodeled and updated. Small, but cute Master Bedroom, Large living room with power reclining furniture, another living room, with a small sectional that turns into a full size bed, fully equipped Kitchen, small but adorable full bathroom, and a loft with a queen bed.
Dedicated work area. Wifi and three Tv's. Netflix, Disney Plus, and FUBO Live TV.
Full size washer and dryer for your convenience. Laundry essentials provided, as well as Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Coffee, Tea, and some spices.
Enjoy the back patio at night and watch the many deer that come in to feed. (There is a camera that faces the back property for wildlife)
Behind the cabin, you'll find a fire pit that you are more than welcome to sit around and enjoy in the evenings. Fully stocked with wood! (If you smoke cigars or whatnot, this is where you can do that.) :) However, no weed or parties allowed. Please make sure you put it out before retiring to bed, as we do live in a treed area.
We are 27 miles to Silverwood. :)
Guest access: We have gates to our Property. A code will be provided before you arrive. We have a large driveway with plenty of parking in front of the guest house. If you are bringing a trailer, there will be room, please just let us know ahead of time.
Please excuse the grass . We just put in sprinklers and flower beds. Waiting for grass to fill back in.
Moose do occasionally come on the Property. Please do not get close. They are very big and can be dangerous.
We have adult children and their friends that come up for dinner and outside play occasionally. Feel free to join them in a game of basketball or Cornhole!

Great stay, enjoyed by all in our family. Cozy, comfortable, just as described. The screened in porch was a favorite area. We will definitely book again when in the area.

Beautifully done cabin inside and cozy wooded area outside. Very peaceful and host was very accommodating and expeditious with any questions. The fresh eggs in the fridge from the onsite chickens and bowl of snacks bars in the kitchen was a nice touch and the whole experience was relaxing. Beautiful sunset as well. I would definitely recommend and go again if in the area.
