Our home lies in the heart of Old Town Villefranche Sur Mer on the water’s edge, with breathtaking views of the Bay, Chapelle Saint-Pierre, restaurants, cafes and shops all just steps outside our door: 10 minutes stroll to the beach and 10 minutes walk to the train station giving you convenient access to Nice, Cannes, Monaco, and Italy.
On the top floor of a charming 3 story building, our home has an ensuite double bed and bathroom while the open loft accommodates 2 additional guests with their own wash and shower room. Make yourself at home with a kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, and a mini refrigerator.

Second time staying at the property. Lightbulb was burned out in one bathroom so it was completely dark with the door shut. Was told that it would be replaced but it didn’t happen. Great location though.

Fantastic location. The property was clean and had a good sized main bedroom with en-suite, kitchen and lounge. Upstairs is a pretty tight squeeze and has limited head height, but we managed.My family thoroughly enjoyed staying at the apartment and loved being so close to the sea front, old town and bars and restaurants.

Great place to stay as long as you can do stairs…very tight, steep stairs. It was perfect for us because the views were spectacular and it was in the center of everything. You are close to the train, the beach and all the restaurants with a favorite right below your window! The apartment is clean and has 2 bathroom and a shower in the loft. The kitchen has everything you need and the clothes washer worked well with a drying rack available. There was a beach umbrella and towels to use and we left goggles for seeing fish. The water is so nice to swim in there. We had a lot of luggage so we Ubered to the airport but if you only had a little, the train could get you there WiFi worked great. Would stay there again!

We found this space disappointing given the cost per night. The view from the living room into the bay is beautiful and the VRBO has excellent access to the beach, but the rest of the unit left a lot to be desired.The ground floor entrance is very tight, even with small carry-ons. Large suitcases would be tough to get to the top floor with uneven stairs.Upon arrival, we were advised none of the locks besides the ground floor door worked properly. Inside, the handles were very loose and the mechanisms didn’t lock properly. Instead of a safe, it was suggested we lock the bedroom for extra protection, but we had trouble due to a loose mechanism with the lock. There is no welcome or instruction booklet. During our 6-day stay, Vanessa, the manager, was friendly and responsive to our messages but was busy managing other properties in the area. We made two requests that they weren’t able to address: pillowcases that weren’t stained, and two extra shower towels. We recognize our requests weren’t urgent but not having them resolved added to our overall disappointment. Many things in the rental seemed worn or damaged in some way. A lot of the furniture and linen is stained, the beds are cheap plastic and the pillows are uncomfortable. The bedroom roof leaked heavily during a rain storm (there were pre-existing water stains that seemed to not have been fixed). The dishwasher and washer were convenient. We would not rate our experience highly, and will never stay in this rental
