The barn is in a lovely location - peaceful but well-connected to nearby attractions. The barn was clean and had everything you'd need, including kitchen ware. The hosts were thoughtful and welcoming.

Location, peace and quiet.
Took a while to work out how to set radiator in bedroom. Heating I think was struggling to get accommodation warm so at times felt a little chilly

The property was spacious, easy to find, parking was great and the views were fantastic. Whenever I travel alone, I’m always considering whether the property is suitable to return with my 1 year old. Without its problems detailed below, it would have been perfect.
The host provided Terms and Conditions AFTER the property was booked and purchased. Within the T&Cs was information that if I had known, I wouldn’t have booked the property. For example- due to the rural location they could not have “guarantee the WIFI working”. Typically the day I arrived it was raining heavily so there was no WIFI. As I was staying so briefly, I managed without it but if I was travelling for work or with my child this would have been problematic. When I informed the host, although she tried to reset the router ultimately when the WiFi still failed she referred me to the T&Cs
Whilst staying I asked a friend to drop some food off on their way home, as I had no signal or WiFi to order the takeaway that I wanted. About 30mins after they arrived I received a text from the host asking if I had a visitor. Although, she said this was “fine but wanted to check that “no one was snooping around”. I thought it would be unlikely for this to be the case as you needed to get out of your car and open a gate to get though to the bungalow! Either way, it made me feel incredibly uncomfortable and like my activities were being watched or that it was likely that ransoms would be snooping around. Again, in the T&Cs it states that “permissions must be granted for visitors”. If i wanted to be monitored, I would have stayed in a travel lodge!
The TV in the bedroom did not work, again due to the rural location and signal issues. I didn’t inform the host as my the time I realised it was past 10pm and I was leaving early in the morning.
It isn’t acceptable for T&Cs to be provided AFTER a service has been purchased
WIFI returned around 4am
