Vermieter sehr freundlich und sehr unkompliziert - es ist eine grosse einfache wohnung dirkt am meer und sehr zentral
Die eine matratze vom doppelbett war unbequem und passt nicht gut auf die unterlage
Schade hat es in den restaurant unten musik-wenn das meer ruhig ist, hört man diese leider gut - wir hatten diesbezüglich glück, da wir hohe wellen hatten

The location of the apartment which is close to the central beach and main shopping area, bars and restaurants. It is very near the pier which offers attractive views of the resort. A limited view of the beach and sea is offered from the kitchen window.
Alassio itself is a very pleasant resort with a long bay of sandy beaches. It is quite upmarket, especially the eastern part of the resort. There is a mixture of private and public beaches.
We travelled by train, and the apartment is just 5 minutes walk from the station.
The property’s booking.com page has photos of all the apartments in this block of six. Had we realised what a limited sea view this apartment had we would have chosen a different apartment. Numbering the apartments (ours was number 3) in the listing would avoid this. It is expensive compared with others we have stayed at.
The entrance to the apartment is quite classy, however this is not matched by some of the accommodation which is need of attention.
The very small kitchenette is probably the worst example. One table leg had screws dropping out. The table was wonky. The mixer tap was loose. One of the cupboard handles was loose, as was the fridge handle. The cupboard footboards were misalligned. There is a kitchen hood, but it not connected (no lights or fan or extraction)
The quality of the kitchen fittings was basic ("IKEA student" standard). The only coffee making facility was a traditional Mocha pot, which takes an age to make two mugs of coffee. (We made our own coffee filter device.) And we bought large glasses as only very small tumblers were provided (no wine glasses).
The main living room is very large but has no table (coffee or dining) just a single, wonky little thing, just about big enough for a laptop. The bathroom tap is also wonky.
