Studio sympa avec terrasse , maxi 4 pers.Briançon

I needed an extra two nights in Briançon and decided to rent this place, which I had previously cast aside because it has no television. I needn't have worried about a tv. The views from the flat beat any tv show. Plus the free wi-fi works really well for your tablet. Here, you get morning and midday sun on your large private terrace, so you can eat and chill-out outside, which on a sunny day is priceless. This flat is on the lowest floor of a three-levels traditional alpine family home surrounded by its garden (sooooo quiet!), and it is the only holiday-let in the house so you'll always have a parking space. Whoever wrote that parking here was tricky should have their driving licence revoked. I was surprised at the amount of space, as the photos on the ad made the studio look smaller than it is. In fact, with a separate kitchen area and a big bathroom (with an easy to enter low-level bathtub and a window), it is a decently sized studio. I grew up in Briançon, and the decor here reminded me of my grandparents house. It is so typical of the homes built in the Hautes-Alpes in the eighties (but with recent windows to keep the heat in). There is a bohemian feel to it which is rather warm and welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and eating, but there is no dishwasher (I prefer to wash as I go when I travel alone anyway). There is a wardrobe and a shelving unit in the lounge/bedroom plus a commode in the bathroom, so 2 adults and 2 children should be able to store their belongings. It might be more of a squeeze in winter when the studio would probably be better suited to a maximum of two adults. Location-wise, you are a 12 minutes walk from the town centre. It is a steep but short climb back. Finally, the owner Laurence is a gem of a lady. Big respect and huge thanks from me for her welcome.

I like my bed to be softer, but that's just my preference. This mattress will suit most people.

Petit studio très bien équipé. Terrasse très sympathique avec une très belle vue.Proximité du centre ville ,tout en étant au calme.

Emplacement pour se garer pas pratique lorsqu'il y a plusieurs véhicules.

Vue sur Briançon de la terrasse avec le soleil ,cela rendait le petit déjeuner formidable
