Ho apprezzato la collocazione dell'appartamento e la disponibilità dei proprietari. C'era tutto ciò che serviva e anche di più. Abbiamo avuto un piccolo inconveniente e gli host ci hanno assistiti in tutto e per tutto preoccupandosi che il nostro soggiorno proseguisse indisturbato.

Sehr freundliche Vermieterin. Lage in 10-15 Gehminuten zur Bootsanlegestelle für die Linienboote nach Venedig genial.
Nachts mit offenem Fenster schlafen ist nicht möglich, da das Garagentor/Zufahrtstor direkt unter dem Fenster steht und sehr laut ist.

Our Hosts, Mic and Stefania, were fabulous, kind and helpful - Stefania collected us from Punta Sabbioni (the vaporetto terminal) and took us to the supermarket to buy some food the day we arrived exhausted and took us back there on our day of departure and the peninsula that the apartment was located on was great if you wanted to explore that part of Venice/ the islands and peninsulas. The apartment itself was spacious, very clean and had a fairly well-equipped kitchen. The shower room and shower were fine, and the apartment is only a 15-minute walk from Punta Sabbioni, which has information & ticket offices for both the vaporettos and the buses to get into town and to the other side of the peninsula, great for camping and to visit the lovely, sandy beaches and dunes.
Because I have a disability (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, including chronic joint pain) the long journey from Marco Polo Airport to the peninsula/ Punta Sabbioni took us 4 hours because the man in the ticket office at the airport failed to tell us that we could get off the vaporetto at the Lido, so we went into Venice, had to get off there and then had to board another vaporetto and this took another hour to go back to the Lido and then on to Punta Sabbioni. As our flight from Bristol left early Thursday morning, both myself and my husband were exhausted by the time we reached Punta Sabbioni and we tried phoning for 2 different taxis, but no-one came back to us. When Stefania text us at nearly 4.30pm to ask if we had arrived on the peninsula yet, I explained that we were waiting for a taxi and she kindly said in her reply that she would come in her car to take us to the apartment. Also, being English, we like our tea to come to boiling properly, so invested in an electric kettle to give to Stefania and Mic to say 'thank you' for being so kind to us. Unfortunately, what we weren't aware of, is that all homes and apartments etc in Italy only take up to 3000 Watts, unless you have bought the higher wattage tariff. So, we promptly blew the fuses in the apartment and Mic came out that evening to sort us out! We've already told them that we have a different system here in the UK - basically, we only pay for the electricity that we use here! - so weren't familiar with the Italian system and they are going to include this information in their apartment brochure and tell guests when they arrive.
