The location was perfect for us – about a 15-minute walk from the beautiful old town, which made for a pleasant stroll.
The sauna is definitely a plus, although there’s a large gap in the door that lets in cold air – this should really be fixed. The pool is great too, though it could be a bit warmer.
Unfortunately, the room wasn’t very clean. The balcony door wasn’t properly closed, so leaves had blown inside, and the room was quite cold when we arrived.
At first, we had trouble with the door – it could be opened without a key card. We later found out that it simply needs to be closed firmly to lock.
During our 2.5-day stay, someone entered our room twice. We didn’t see who it was – the person seemed startled to find us there and left without saying anything. Since there’s no daily housekeeping service, this seemed rather odd and left us with an uneasy impression.
All in all, it could be a wonderful hotel – it just lacks a bit of attention to detail.
