Central location and a great character

The hotel is located in front of a parc just a 100mt away from the center of the city, giving you the possibility to discover the old town within a short walk, with all it's restaurants and attractions. The hotel itself is very "Art Deco" a period which I personally love and admire, and gives the hotel it's own "personality". Rooms are large enough, clean with a comfortable bed, well equipped and well isolated to noise. Staff is welcoming and ready to help whenever needed. The manager/owner since over 25years was there all the time, ready to interact with the guests, something not to be found in every house today. There is a lebanese restaurant, which I think is good (just tried the hummus), but which in my opinion, doesn't match with the style of the hotel itself.
The coffee in the room was just not drinkable. This is the only thing which disturbed me during the stay.

Good location and value.
A metal gate at the back of the hotel was banging in the wind - kept us awake half the night.
