The location was excellent for our purposes! Overall the house was clean and as advertised. The rear shaded patio with gas fire pit and grill was a highlight! The kitchen is adequately equipped and met our cooking needs. The host was very responsive and helpful. The neighbors are quiet and the neighborhood is peaceful. The beds are a little on the firm side. The house has on-demand hot water.Overall, it was a great place to stay and we were comfortable.

Our family booked 4 nights at this home, and we have mixed feelings about our experience. On the positive side, we loved the house itself: it was very clean, spacious, peaceful and tastefully decorated. However… we slept poorly because thé mattresses were very uncomfortable. In addition the master bedroom had drapes that allowed light in , so it was bright early morning and we could not sleep in.. Also there were no TVs in any of the bedrooms, which we missed. We had to watch it in the living room.. On the second day, we found ourselves locked out of the house! The entry code no longer worked! We called customer service and they told us to wait because they couldn’t reach the owner.. we ended up waiting nearly 30 minutes in the sun with groceries in hand and melting ice cream. Eventually the owner called us and helped us. Unbelievably, the same night, the power went out ( as we were watching Tv).We found ourselves in complete darkness, with Ice cream melting in the freezer and not able to cook. The power outage lasted for about 2 hours. We called the owner again for help , but understandably he couldn’t do anything for us, as this was a planned power outage due to reducing the risk of fires in the area. Neighbors later confirmed that power outages happen REGULARLY in the summer. No one warned us about that.. unbelievably About 2 hours after the power was restored, it went out again!!! And this time it lasted for the rest of the night! So, to resume: we loved the look of the house, minus the uncomfortable beds, no TVs in the bedrooms and rolling power outages. Sadly our experience was mostly disappointing.. we gave our experience 3 stars because the power outages couldn’t be helped. However it would have been nice. If we had that information ahead of time…
