About this house rental
Relax with the whole family at this peaceful and magical place. Very secluded waterfront property with nature everywhere. Watch eagles, seals, otters, herons, and so many other creatures. Newly renovated bathroom and kitchen with a designer bertazoni induction range. Brand new traeger grill on deck. Cozy and stylish decor. Comfortable deck and firepit. 700 feet of private beach. 2 bedrooms on main floor with queen beds. One king bed on top floor accessed by spiral staircase. Pet friendly.

One large bedroom with king bed on top floor accessible with spiral staircase that may not be appropriate for guests with mobility issues or small children. Large garage with extra refrigerator and washer and dryer. As well as room for kayaks, bikes, or other toys guests may bring.

Just added hot tub 12/22/23. Barely used. Guests need to make sure covers are back on. Use at own risk but please take care of it.
I am an experienced host in Seattle. This is a new project and a new location for me and my family. I have fallen in love with the property and it is magical. There are birds, snakes, frogs, butterflies, otters, seals, just everywhere. It is quiet and secluded and we love it. It is an old house and we have cleaned it up but it is not new construction. There will be quirks. Although I am a very experienced host, I do not micromanage guests and am relatively hands off unless needed. I live in Seattle and expect guest to be somewhat self sufficient.
No pets on furniture. No smoking inside.

We had such a wonderful stay here. What might not be obvious when looking at this already amazing listing ((right on the water with a sauna, private beachfront, and even a a delightful yard to picnic under the cherry tree with)) is how incredible the host, Kelly, is. She was an absolute delight to work with: very communicative, kind, and responsive to every request.The home itself felt deeply nourishing. I especially appreciated the non-toxic cleaning products and refraining from using artificial scents or air fresheners, which made it feel safe and refreshing for both me and our newborn. Watching the tide move in and out just a few feet from the house was magical, and the entire setting truly feels like the water itself is part of the experience.We invited my grandparents and parents to join us, and most of our vacation was happily spent simply being together at the house- talking, resting, and enjoying timeless quality time in such a peaceful setting.As a host myself, I have high standards, and this property exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a place that combines comfort, beauty, and a genuinely thoughtful host.

We had the best relaxing vacation! The area is quiet with only the sounds of the water. The house is well stocked and comfortable. A short drive (15-20 min) to Port Townsend proper. Kelly is a wonderful host, making sure we had everything we need. Would definitely stay there again!

We loved staying at this home. It is a peaceful setting on the water. We enjoyed watching the eagles, sea lions, herons, and seagulls. The kitchen is well stocked with pans, bowls, and baking utensils. Lots of spices too! A beautiful deck for warm spring and summer days. You will love staying at this home.

My husband and I got married on Whidbey Island and took a quick mini-moon to the peninsula, the house was on a quiet bay and we loved it. One day we hung out at the house, we took the kayaks out and sat in the hot tub, it did not disappoint! Very quiet neighborhood, it was all we could ask for. Will be booking again next time we are over there.
