Die Wohnung ist sauber – aber leider nie wieder!

Katastrophale Nachbarn! Unser Auto wurde von oben mit Papier beworfen und mit Öl beschmiert, weil man uns fälschlicherweise beschuldigte, ein Blumenbeet zu beschädigen. Wir standen nur daneben und haben nichts berührt. Die Nachbarn schrien etwas auf Kroatisch, und ein Mädchen kam sogar herunter, um nachzusehen – das Beet war unberührt. Trotz zweimaligem Waschen ist unser Auto immer noch voller Öl. Leider hat dieser Vorfall den gesamten Aufenthalt ruiniert. Für uns: nie wieder.

Good location between the old town and Marjan park - 15 minute walk to the old town. Very clean. Free parking outside accomodation. Very close to supermarkets.

Building looks very grim in the outside but lovely inside. Shower seemed to run out of hot water very quickly - not even enough for one person.

The location is tucked into the corner of a courtyard parking area with a somewhat small and narrow driveway coming from another larger parking area. I did not realize until after getting the keys that it would have been possible to park next to the door, c'est la vie. It is a ground floor apartment with a direct entrance from the parking. Overall the location is fairly convenient and we walked in 15 minutes to the very centre. Nice. The main bed is big and good. For 1 night we were fine.

I think all the locals know about this free parking area so in the evening they come and use it to walk into town. We found a space luckily. The rest of the day it is easy to park. The shower was a bit small and ran out of hot water rapidly, we could not find any way to adjust the boiler. My partner also had the misfortune to find a (dead) cockroach while in the shower, hidden a bit under the shower curtain. I think Croatia may be having an epidemic of roaches because I saw many more (thankfully only outdoors) in other towns. We only used the main bed but the secondary bed is located in the kitchen and is very small; I would not put an adult on that, and it's not comfortable for a child either I suspect. The kitchen is small and cramped too. There is only one narrow window in the bedroom, not much light and air, and it opens up onto a courtyard car park.
