I cannot recommend Philmar guesthouse enough.
Lovely clean and very welcoming place
The landlady is lovely and very accommodating when we had some health issues that threatened us be able to go away.
She was absolutely amazing and very understanding.
The guesthouse is extreamly clean and homley
And the beds are amazballs comfy.
Would definitely stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised by our room. It was a family room which is probably why it was so spacious, and more importantly clean. My only moan would be breakfast is served between 8am - 9am. I personally think 8-10am would be more appealing but you can’t please everyone all the time.
