Everything is great! A big and clean room, pretty furnishing, comfy beds. Cleaning service is provided daily to replenish toiletries and beverages. Price is very cheap for the value. There was a few hiccups during check-in as we arrived late after a brief stopover at Pisa, coming from Florence. The only thing could be improved is the description in agoda website that we need to inform the owner in advance of our arrival time, as we could have done so if we knew.

We had a very unpleasant stay due to poor attitude of the staff:
1. We arrived at the accommodation at around 6pm which is within its check-in period (until 8pm). However the staff left the accommodation before the end of check-in period, and we had to call her number. The first thing she said was “I waited for you for so long”, and she repeated this throughout the call. She gave us a feeling that we made a mistake for checking in within her office hours.
2. We asked the staff whether wine glass was available, and she replied no, which was fine. But immediately after that, she added that we should have informed such request before our arrival. Again, giving us a feeling that it was our fault.
3. The staff told me that she will be at the accommodation at 8:30am the next day to prepare for check out which is supposed to end at 10:30am. The next morning, she started creating a lot of noise at around 8:30am-9am which disturbed our rest. What’s worse was she banged our door at 10am and shouted at us to check out. Her inappropriate behaviour affected my partner who was in the middle of a business call. I have never seen staff banging customers’ door and shouting at us to check out before check out time. Her poor attitude ruined the start of our new day.
The room was nice, everything was clean but the poor attitude of the staff definitely does not make Fidelio worth a stay.
