Nice room renovation of older property. Outside could still use work but this is located on the lake in neighborhood where people are building expensive homes and we felt very safe even though no person on site. Phoned number on door when we came and they told us room number and it was open with key on table. Not typical but obviously they don’t worry someone will come and steal things.
OneWe enjoyed watching deer and birds from balcony in the morning and walking near lake where we saw vermillion flycatcher and golden fronted woodpeckers.

My recent stay at this location was very satisfying. The gentleman attendee in reception was friendly. The room was spacious, clean, cool and the beds were very comfortable. The weather did not permit us fo enjoy the lake which is walking distance from the hotel. But all in all I had an enjoyable time at Canyon Lake. I would love to go back to enjoy the lake.

This is a 2 star hotel and it is good for that category. Quiet and has a nice outside shady deck for sitting. Took hours to cool room. Request for extra towels was handled well.
