I was tempted to give a 1 star review - in order to keep this great gem my little secret - but that would have been unfair to the establishment - so I decided instead to be honest!
This hotel is modern and well laid out. Staff, from reception to room service were diligent and friendly. Check in was quick and easy. Room, which was an 'entry-level' twin room, was more than adequate. Nicely appointed and furnished, comfortable bed, decent bathroom and large private balcony overlooking gardens to the rear.
Breakfast had a wide selection of freshly prepared produce and drinks and all that I sampled was tasty.
The spa is clean and huge. Indoor pools, whirlpools, salt pools - all ideally heated. Steam rooms and treatment rooms. Outdoors another huge pool beckons, with water spouts and restful areas. Plentiful seating and nicely landscaped.
Bikes available to rent and lots of outdoor seating to the front of the hotel, with champagne bar.
Can I find a fault - well, if I must - we ran out of hand soap in our room - but this was replenished speedily - and they have an odd towel hire arrangement in the Spa, but that is easily avoided by taking your own!
All in all a great stay and I'll be back when next in town .....
