Edinburgh Pearl Apartments - Dalry House Residence

The apartment is in the first floor. One has to climb two stairs with roughly 20 steps. Old people or people carrying heavy baggages will find it difficult to get inside.

Great location to the trams and busses at Haymarket, clean and lots of living space, good kitchen setup. This place is very convenient and I liked getting the keys from a lockbox and how responsive the property managers were with good instructions on how to get there and get into the apartment, etc. There is a Co-op grocery store not too far up Dalry road if you need to go get laundry detergent and food. The washer and dryer were great to have as well - but if you're not from the UK, you might have to do what we did and look up instructions on how to use them (the settings were a bit tricky if you've never used a washer like that before).

There is no where to hang anything or put anything in the bathrooms - no shelves and no hooks. There was weirdly not enough toilet paper for each bathroom, but we figure that might have just been this one stay because everything else was well stocked. The mirror light in the bathroom was broken and the bedside table lamp bulb burned out, and it was quite dusty in the corners and the light fixtures in the kitchen/living room. Not too much to complain about though, it was a pretty decent space.

A very comfortable apartment, just a 30-minute tram ride from the airport. It is within walking distance of the city center and has some nice cafes nearby.

Lock of shelf space in bathroom & wardrobe . There's not even a hook for hangings in toilet Tissues provided were not sufficient. Should be great if 2 or more spares instead of the only ONE roll at toilet paper hook available during our stay for 5 days & 4 nights Sofa & cooking pans are scarched & old that needs replacements
