The flat was spacious, and the kitchen was fully functional. Entering the flat initially felt a little daunting because there were three different codes to enter: one for the basement garage, one for the lift, and another to retrieve the key for the flat. Thankfully, we didn’t run into any issues. Although the city centre was not within walking distance, Greggs, Boots, and Sainsbury’s were only about a 10-minute walk away, which was convenient in its own way.

The YouTube video instructions for guests arriving by car need to be updated. Following the video, we spent quite a while looking for the “red dish” with the keys, only to realize the keys were actually on a wall-mounted key holder in the hallway, not hidden at all. However, the main key did not fit the keyhole, so we had to use the key from the lockbox every time we left and returned to the flat. Using the key for the disposal area also required a bit of skill, as not all of us were able to open or lock the door easily. The ensuite shower also needs a deep cleaning. The wall tile grout and the knob on the electric shower controller had visible dirt buildup. The shower head and hose were also quite dirty, and the shower head nozzles were heavily clogged with limescale, leaving only one spray mode functional. While showering, debris even started coming off the ridges of the hose, so I ended up cleaning it myself. Still, the hose could benefit from a thorough cleaning with a brush. I would recommend soaking the shower head in vinegar overnight to descale it, and if that does not fully clear the nozzles, replacing both the shower head and hose.

Location is about 15 minutes drive from city center but there are shops around within 10 minutes walking distance.

One of the bathroom cannot be used and only mentioned by the host. Booking did not inform any condition of the apartment. Booking is not taking any responsibility. I am yet to receive any feedback on the refund request.
