Maisons Laffitte is just 30-40 mins away by train from the city center of Paris but accommodation here is much cheaper. Ibis is an established hotel chain, with good standards of quality of hospitality. The hotel is 10-15 mins away from RER train station. The room is clean and cozy, there is a restaurant on the ground floor.
There is no kettle and mugs in the room, but if you need cold / hot water, you may ask it in the bar for free.
Also note, that there is no fridge in the room. But all other necessary things are there: hairdryer, shampoo / body wash, TV, extra pillow.
Breakfast is wonderful for those who like European food - plenty of pastry, fruits, fresh juice, a good choice of tea and coffee.
Overall, it is a very good experience of staying here.

The service is very slow. I would like this to be improved. On the day I visited, there was an alert warning, but I hotel said that nothing had happened. So poor đŁ
