First of all let me state that this will be long and a honest review of Hotel Almira by a person who had been to over 150 countries! I know that I will not be able to find the right words to truly state how wonderful my stay at the Hotel Almira really was but I will still try.
I ended up staying an extra 4 days in total from the original 2 and the hospitality of the staff was truly off the charts. From the extra warm welcome when I first arrived to the extraordinary help given to to me by the young lady who works the morning who I believe is called Fifi.
Their breakfast with all its variety is by far and away the best I have ever seen. Their smiles and joy to help with any problem was so comforting. Their location so close to the famous bridge, restaurants, grocery stores and anything else that is needed was wonderful.
The staff did so much each day to help me out with answering questions, directing me and helping me out. But what blew my mind was that last morning when Fifi heard about my problems of trying to go to Trebinje , without any asking and unbeknownst to me found me bus instead to Dubrovnik, got my deposit with hotel in Trebinje cancelled, got me taxi to the bus station and gave me water to have for my trip. I owe her big time and thank you felt so insufficient on my part. That’s how you do hospitality at a level so if anyone is looking for a great place to stay in Mostar then you are doing yourself a disservice if you do not stay at Hotel Almira!

The hotel is located very close to the old town and the Old Mostar Bridge.Easily accessible by car and has ample carparks spaces at the back of the hotel.The hotel has a lift and bringing up luggage up to your room is easy.The room we had,room 206 is spacious and has 2 balconies.It faces out to the river and mountain at the back.We read reviews in trip advisor to request backfacing rooms to avoid noise from the club infront of the hotel.We had fresh air flowing into our room from the river.Breakfast is included and sumptuous.Wifi was strong.Staff are very friendly.I highly recommend this hotel if you are going to Mostar.
