In the house: table football, central heating system. Stepped path (44 steps) to the house. Parking at the house. Supermarket 1.4 km, shopping centre 3.2 km, restaurant 700 m, bus stop "Clarens, St-Georges" 130 m, railway station "Montreux" 2.8 km, pebble beach 100 m (small), lake Lac Léman. Nearby attractions: Montreux 2 km, Vevey 3.8 km, Château de Chillon 6 km, Chaplin's World 6.2 km, Lausanne Musée Olympique 21 km, Genève 90 km. Hiking paths: Rocher de Naye. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Duck House. Being a Freddie Mercury fan, it was quite special to be able to stay here. The exterior grounds were a bit disappointing. They need to be more properly manicured. Especially when compared to the neighbors' homes on either side. The plants and trees were not properly maintained. There was quite a bit of overgrowth and weeds. It takes away from the beauty of the house. The house itself is beautiful! Comfortable beds, and quiet! We will stay again!

Hallo, wir sind hier natürlich wegen der "Freddie" - Vergangenheit gewesen. Es ist fantastisch, am See gelegen und bietet die gewünschte Ruhe. Dennoch hatten wir den Eindruck, dass insbesondere die Hygiene und die vielen Reste von vergangenen Besuchern, insbesondere das "Hinterlassen" von alten Gewürzen es notwendig macht, dem inneren Bereich des Hauses eine Reinigung und Desinfektion zukommen zu lassen. Zumindest bei einem Objekt dieser Dimension. Ansonsten: es ist ein Haus voll Emotionen!

Traumlage, Objekt etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis: "Jein". Besonders bei kalten Nächten sind die Fenster nicht dicht (70er Jahre!), Kälte u. Zugluft in Schlaf-u. Badzimmern. Salon sehr liebe- und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Hauswart sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Backofen und Geschirrspüler sowie Heizung erneuert. Jedoch: Belastbarkeit Stromnetz entspricht noch den 70er Jahren. Kompletter Stromausfall bei Betätigung von Backofen u. Geschirrspüler. Panorama sehr toll.
