About this house rental
A cozy 1620 foot 3 bedroom 2 bath home. Close to 35 minutes to Crater lake and fishing, Klomoia Casino, 30 minutes to Lake of the Woods. Zip lining and many trails for hiking. A quite and peaceful retreat, common block, brewery in Klamath Falls, western museums table, favel western art museum. 30 minutes from Klamath falls, Oregon. Beautiful geese flying over in-the season. Wings convention for eagles The perfect little get away! This property does not have internet ot cable..

The house itself was roomy and comfortable for 3 friends in the area to explore Crater Lake. Kitchen was well appointed but some dishes had been put away not cleaned or n some cases clean but not dried. The biggest issue it was very hot, no A/C in the house which would have been less of an issue if there had been enough fans -- at least one for each bedroom. Lynda (host) was very responsive on questions and wish all hosts were that thorough in instructions and quick to respond. With more fans and a bit better cleaning, I would have rated as a 5 star.

Spent the weekend with my kids to experience the annular solar eclipse and explore Crater Lake. Absolute loved the property, home, and location out in the quiet country. I will be saving this property to my favorites list for future trips to the Klamath area.

It's a great location and a beautifully decorated home with ample towels and kitchen supplies. We appreciated the notes about letting in the midges and mosquitoes so we never opened the windows. Nevertheless, there seemed to be an infestation of mosquitoes in one of the bedrooms. Over two dozen were found nights in the room my son and his wife had to sleep in. Unfortunately, she's very susceptible to mosquitoes. We were not allowed to change the temperature in the house without raising the cost of our stay Therefore, it was very cold when we watched TV or played games. And this was in August. We did use a space heater for those times, but it was still uncomfortable. In the master bedroom, there was a consistent hum from the water heater and sprinkler system which sometimes ran all night. The worst problem was the unexpected pee that came up through the first bed my son and his wife slept in. He was covered with some kind of liquid on his back and we discovered it was coming from inside the mattress. Not a healthy thing to happen. We met the owner who was very nice and as horrified as we were about the bed problem. She came to inspect the situation and said she would be refunding some of our money, but that hasn't happened yet.
