Cedar Cottage

The property was clean, comfortable and well decorated, if a little outdated in quiet residential area of Hollingwood. A welcome box of tea and snacks was a great personal touch. Across the road is a small convenience store and 15 minutes walk away on Brimington High Street there is a small supermarket with a larger range of provisions. It is a few minutes walk to the main road where buses into town (10 minute journey) can be caught.

We stayed at the end of summer and the Autumn weight duvets were too hot. The single beds both had waterproof mattress protectors on which also made sleeping too hot.

Tidy and convenient for us. Appreciated the welcome pack. Close to local facilities.

Very pleasant home from home whilst waiting for my move abroad after sake if my house it was really useful having a garage as I had a lot of possessions in my car

Noth8ng all was fine

Very disappointed this time around • Not very clean throughout • shelf in fridge door broken - both fridge and freezer notvery clean • Heavy Glass top dining table in conservatory very wobbly - unsafe/unstable and unusable as two of the legs not attached • Not enough crockery/spoons for 6 • Downstairs bathroom doesn't lock properly, seal around bath perished, blinds have broken slats • Light in upstairs bathroom doesn't work • Hoover is rubbish and smelly • Not enough seating in the lounge for 6 • signal on television is intermittent • needs a deep clean and redecoration.
