Charming 90 year old Historic Lodge. We are located right across the street from the famous Umpqua River where you can fish, fly fish or kayak. There are many hiking trails and waterfalls to explore. After a long day of playing enjoy our wine and beer bar.

I grew up in the area but had never had an opportunity to stay here before. Joanne was supper helpful and kind, obviously loves this lodge. Our room (#1) was spacious, and there were food offerings (in addition to our welcome gift of zucchini bread) across the street, and a few places nearby. Although close to the street, we found the rustic appeal of this lodge overwhelmed the noise of the traffic, that depending on where you stay in the lodge you might not hear at all. Will stay here again if given the opportunity. Joanne is the best!!

Rooms were basic, but very clean. great location near many hikes and waterfalls. Trading post with gas was directly across the street which was a bonus! Restaurants in Glide only a few miles away! Joanne was very pleasant.

When I spoke with the owner she said we would have the house all to ourselves. It may have been a house at one time but it was actually a building with a hallway down the center and rooms on each side. It was very clean. From our conversation I expected a house and packed accordingly. There was a microwave but no dishes, no utensils, etc. Luckily there was a place across the street to purchase picnic supplies. A bit too rustic for our taste.
