Location, price . Greeted by host who is easily accessible and resides on the premises.
Lacking some basic things like hand soap, shampoo and a good coffee maker. Some things were provided when asked but we had to go out for coffee every morning end there are plenty of good cafes in the neighborhood.
Also, Electricity couldn’t handle hairdryer and we had to get owner to come and correct the issue .
It could use some updates especially the bathroom such as replacing broken tiles instead of duct taping and adding a shower curtain.

We loved the old-fashioned charm of this 17th Century residential building. The apartment is self-contained, elegant and well-furnished. On an upper floor overlooking the large garden to the rear (with visiting well-fed fox), and the street lined with boutiqes at the front. You are in the heart of old Carouge, with it's restaurants and bars, market square and trams into the centre of Geneva. If you read French there is an extensive library of Art and Philosophy books in the large living room.
There was an issue with the stairway lighting but this was fixed upon mentioning it to the owner, who is on-site.
