The cottage was nicely decorated. Care and attention had been put into the choice of decoration and ornaments. The duvet covers were pretty! The kitchen was well appointed. The property was lovely and clean.
The shower was underpowered so we were a bit chilly when having a wash.

Mews Cottage is located in the heart of Appleby. The rooms are pleasant, comfortable and very clean.

Spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable property. Nicely equipped. Quiet location away from the road with a little wooded area just up the steps for dog wee spot. Owner very kindly let us check out a bit later which was much appreciated. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook 🙂.
Some very minor things - no sharp knives in the kitchen and I didn’t see any big pots or ceramic ovenware. Not a problem for our lovely weekend but if we were there for a week I would want these things. And the bath towels are quite small. Very small issues though and definitely wouldn’t put me off returning!
