About this lodge
The River Lodge sleeps up to 16 people! Brand new! Bring the whole family, or multiple families, to this great place with lots of room for fun.
The River Lodge (4 bedrooms and two lofts) sleeps up to 16 guests and has four bathrooms with walk in showers. The open and spacious floor plan contains a large kitchen and dining area with enough seating for 16+ people.

-We do not allow pets
-The Riv is located 5 minutes south of Camp Wood, Texas.
-Sleeping arrangements:
4 bedrooms (two rooms with king beds, two rooms with two double beds)
2 lofts, each with 2 day beds and 2 pullout beds
4 bathrooms (one which is handicap accessible)
Living room with sectional couch and TV
-The kitchen is stocked with kitchenware
-Gas range/oven
-Microwave
-Refrigerator and freezer
-Stacked washer & dryer
-Propane bbq and a wood bbq outside
-Must be 21 years old to reserve and an adult must be present during the rental period.
-Maximum of 16 tenants
-Only tenants of The Riv Resort are allowed on the property and have access to the river.
-Fire pits are on site. Firewood can be purchased from us as you request it.
-The River Lodge is a one or two minute walk to the river and is adjacent to our six cabins.
-You can rent kayaks, paddle boards , and tubes from us, as long as we have timely notice (a few days). First come first served, since we have limited amounts.
-You can reserve one of our three riverfront pavilions for your own private and shaded area on the river, or one of our two private docks as long as we have timely notice (a few days). First come first served, since there are limited quantities. When reserving, you can specify which pavilion or dock you want, or one will be assigned.
-We have 6 cabins, 2 cottages, and another lodge that can be rented as well. The entire resort is available to rent for full privacy. Contact us if you would like to add more buildings to your rental.

The RIV is a fantastic place to stay, and we will be doing it again. The staff was crazy responsive, the lodge was amazing, and the amenities even in the weather were great. If you haven't been to the Texas Hill Country, this is a great place to come and enjoy it.

Property was well kept and had everything we needed! The lodge was so clean, the layout was very spacious and well designed. Plenty of room for all 15 of us! The bedrooms were all Masters, and the lofts had plenty of room for the kids. The kitchen was so well equipped, and the best organized that I have ever seen in any rental. AC worked great, very nice outdoor seating area and fire pit. Two really spacious porches, one with wheelchair access. The lake was beautiful, and they even had golf cart rental available for us to transport things to the water. Can't say enough good things, we even ran into a couple of small problems but both were corrected immediately with no issues! We will definitely stay again! Love this place

If you want a party atmosphere with lots of shopping and restaurants, this is not your place! But if you want a place that you can spend quality time with friends and family, this is it. My family cooked, looked at the stars, listened to music, sat around and chatted, watched a movie, read books, and napped. The River Lodge accommodated all of that with ease. And the River is a beautiful addition. We rented a dock both days under the willow trees and it’s was cool and beautiful. The river is deeper here, so our tubes, kayaks and lifevest for the babies were important. We set up camp for 5-6 hours a day down there and had a blast. The lodge is then a comfy spot to go back to.
I booked the River Lodge for my sons 30th birthday. It was mainly family with two friends and my sons children who are two and three.
It was perfect. The lodge is beautifully done and has everything you need. You have to bring your food but everything else is there. The River Lodge sleeps 8 adults super comfortably and there are two lofts that sleep extras. The kitchen is stocked with absolutely everything you need. I cooked two big meals while there.
If you want a sweet place to spend time together with all the modern amenities, the River Lodge is perfect!
