About this lodge
The Ranch Lodge at The Riv is the best option for big groups or multiple families. The Ranch Lodge (3 bedrooms and a loft) and its Casita (2 bedrooms) have bedding for up to 18 guests and 4 bathrooms with giant walk in showers. The open and spacious floor plan contains a large kitchen and dining area with enough seating for 16+ people.

-Sleeping arrangements:
5 bedrooms (four rooms with king beds…two in lodge and two in casita... and one room with a bunk bed…attached to the master bath…perfect for kids).
Loft on second floor with 4 twin beds, 2 day beds, and 2 pullout beds
Living room with sectional couch, card table, and TV
-The kitchen is stocked with kitchenware
-Gas range/oven
-Microwave
-Refrigerator and freezer
-Washer and dryer
-Propane bbq and a wood bbq on the back patio
-Must be 21 years old to reserve and an adult must be present during the rental period.
-Maximum of 16-18 tenants
-Only tenants of The Riv cabins are allowed on the property and have access to the river.
-Fire pits are on site. Firewood can be purchased from us as you request it.
-The Lodge is a two minute drive through the resort, or a five minute walk to the river. We provide a golf cart for easy transport.
-You can rent kayaks, paddle boards , and tubes from us, as long as we have timely notice (a few days). First come first served, since we have limited amounts.
-You can reserve one of our three riverfront pavilions for your own private and shaded area on the river, or one of our two private docks as long as we have timely notice (a few days). First come first served, since there are limited quantities. When reserving, you can specify which pavilion or dock you want, or one will be assigned.
-We have 6 cabins, 2 cottages, and another lodge that can be rented as well. The entire resort is available to rent for full privacy. Contact us if you would like to add more buildings to your rental.

We enjoyed our stay at the Riv!

We had 17 in the group mostly family and few friends. This place is about 30-min from Uvalde in a remote area by the river. We stayed in the Ranch Lodge that accommodate upto 18 people.
Overall, the group enjoyed viewing the Solar eclipse, playing pickle ball, kayaking, s'mores and golf carting.
Cyndy, the facilities manager and her partner Pat were extra nice, met our requests promptly and gave us good guidance about nearby restaurants. We enjoyed our stay and the viewing solar eclipse (awesome experience) on a party cloudy day.
