Le moulin du Mesnil

Everything. This is a real gem. Hidden away from the village of St George sur Cher. The owners are lovely and accommodating and extremely friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Google Translate helped us a lot as our French was very poor!! The breakfast is to die for and so much. It kept us going all day! Every morning was different with a huge variety. We adored the home made jams and pancakes! Our room was extremely comfortable with everything we needed. The views from the garden were spectacular. We even saw a red squirrel 🐿️ Would 100% recommend.

Accueil très chaleureux ! Nous avons passé un petit séjour bien agréable, dans un cadre magnifique ! La chambre était très confortable et décorée avec beaucoup de goût, le rêve ...!! Le petit déjeuner buffet...excellent et délicieux...préparé et servi avec soin par Christiane qui a vraiment à coeur de faire plaisir !! Merci à vous Christiane tout était parfait !! Ne changez rien !! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !!

The location was perfect, set down a quiet country lane but with easy car access to the village centre with a little auberge, a small but well stocked supermarket and two eateries. Loved the location, the tranquil garden, the waterways, the grounds, the pool and the beautiful individual apartment - stunning. Rooms include coffee maker, kettle, hairdryer, water and even little biscuits. Lovely bed. So thoughtfully presented. Beautiful breakfast room. Fabulous pool.

We will stay longer next time, too lovely to leave after one night !

What a beautiful home off of the beaten path! We had a car and it was an easy beautiful drive. The hosts were amazing and we felt so welcome. Breakfast was amazing and the host made some recommendations for us in the nearby town which were wonderful. I can not recommend this wonderful maison enough!
