About this cottage rental
A attractive and spacious Lodge with the River Eamont running beside it. With a wood burner (Sept - May only)and an enclosed garden, it lies five minutes from Pooley Bridge and the lake shore.. 5 steps to entrance.
All on the Ground Floor:

Living area: Smart TV, Woodburner, French Doors Leading To Balcony

Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Induction Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher

Bedroom 1: Zip And Link Super Kingsize Bed (2 x Singles On Request), Smart TV Ensuite: Bath, Walk-In Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet
Bedroom 2: Zip And Link 2 x Single (3ft) Beds, Smart TV Ensuite: Walk-In Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Biomass central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair (available on request). Welcome pack.. Enclosed rear garden with sitting out area and garden furniture. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking.. Woodhouse Lodge has been fully renovated in 2022, is situated just ½ mile from the shores of Lake Ullswater in superb surroundings with a footpath following the river direct from this amazing property into Pooley Bridge and the Ullswater shoreline. This working farm borders the River Eamont and is close to the craggy peaks of the Lakeland fells, nearby fells include the High Street range just 1 mile and Helvellyn only 8 miles away. With local hotspots like Penrith, 6 miles and Keswick only 16 miles where you can enjoy everything from local markets, cafés and pubs, to climbing walls, swimming pools and golf.
Access is via a small, private holiday park under the same ownership. Good location for peace and quiet yet only ¼ mile walk to Pooley Bridge with shops, pubs, cafés, and steamer trips. Young children’s play area and small football pitch nearby. The Lodge is adjacent to the owner’s quiet seasonal holiday park with no letting or subletting.

This property was absolutely beautiful and so cozy and comfortable. It was perfect for our family which included our 86-year old mother. The views overlooking the hills and valley were wonderful. Our hosts were very friendly and easily available if we had questions. We had an amazing time staying here.
