The space & location, it's our 2nd time here & just as good as last year. There is everything you need for a weekend away. Fully equipped kitchen.

Loved our stay here. It was very clean and comfortable. The house and kitchen are well equipped, we had everything we needed. There is also a selection of games and books. Should you need it, the heating worked well, the house felt cosy when we had a chilly night. Ground floor has the living/dining area and kitchen, with stairs outside to go down to the garden. First floor has 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom and there are 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the lower floor, there is also a door down here that opens on to the garden, if you don't fancy the outside stairs from the kitchen. The location was perfect for us, we were staying for our daughter's graduation, and the house was literally around the corner from the castle gate, in fact, you could see it from the garden! There is also a good choice of pubs and eateries within walking distance, and shops too.

The only small thing is that there is only the keylock to lock the door, once it shuts, you have to hope that it is locked as you can't check when you're inside, I like to make sure I'm locked in at night!
