Nice spacious casa. Easy pick up key in a safe box. good and fast communication with Paco.

Some beds could be better but OK.

The property was dated but comfortable with plenty of space. Excellent pool with an enclosed area. The garden was fully enclosed which was perfect for our dog. The situation, within 5 minutes walk of the Old Town, was excellent.

Absolutely nothing in the villa when we arrived. We expected no linen, towels etc. as that was clear in the details and so we brought our own, but not a bit of soap, toilet paper washing up liquid etc. which meant that you had to buy everything. We arrived by car, so we had most of these things with us, but it must be terribly disconcerting if you are arriving by air and you arrive at the villa only to have to go straight out again, and then only if the shops are open!!! For the sake of spending EUR10, the owners or the management could put it a roll of toilet paper, some soap and other essentials to make the place more welcoming.

Beautiful location with a nice view on the village and Mediterranean. House is very spacious with 4 bedrooms, separate kitchen with all appliances, living room and 2 bathrooms. Unfortunately no air-conditioning, so it get's very warm in the house. The porch is large, with enough furniture. The large pool is heated and cleaned every week. There is a large terras with sunbeds. The city center, supermarkets, restaurants are in walking distance. Platja de L'Arenal is a beautiful beach with nice restaurants, but you'll need a car as it's 5km from the house. Other beaches are nearby but these are pebble beaches. Denia (25 minute drive by car) is a nice town where you can find a lot of nice, shops, bars and restaurants.

There is some noise disturbance from the roosters in the morning and there are a lot of dogs in the neighborhood, so bring ear plugs. Also there are construction workers during day. It get's very warm in the house as there is no air-conditioning. The outside of the house is beautiful, inside it could need some work as there are broken tiles, broken light fittings in the bathrooms. We opted for the bed-linnen and towels, these was very small and you only get one set of small towels per person, so bring your own towels.

Location was great, as was the view. The fact that the pool was gated was great for us with young kids and the villa had plenty of space with a great large balcony.

But unfortunately the house is old and in dire need of a lot of upgrades. We had a list of things that went wrong or broke during our stay: for the 1st 2 days the pool was completely murky (unable to see the bottom) pool cleaner arrived on day 3 and it was fixed. The broadband broke and stayed unresolved for 3 days, the dishwasher broke and stayed unresolved for a week despite me following up with the agency. When the dishwasher was eventually “fixed” we turned it on after the technician left and it tripped the trip switch and cut off the electricity in the whole house which meant we were locked outside the house by the electric gates. There was no information pack left in the house for guests. I had to reach out to the agency to try and find out the WiFi code. There are a number of different keys and different doors and gates to access the villa and we were given no prior info on which key we should use and which door(main access to the house is through the upstairs door) given we arrived at 1am on Saturday night this made it very stressful trying to gain access to the property with no information. The agency who manage the rental were also very unhelpful.
