Again my adult sons met us in Oregon to visit family and we had a great, relaxing stay at this beautiful location to explore the coast, the beach, the lake and local restaurants. We hope to be back again and have stayed here before.

The property is located up on an overlook to the lake. There is privacy provided by trees on either side of the house. It was wonderful to sit on the deck with the morning coffee and enjoy the expansive lake view. On one side of the property is a blue heron rookery and the other side an osprey nest. We also saw eagles, egrets, swallows, hummingbirds and many other types. We were lucky enough to be there when the herons were nesting and could hear the chicks and see the adult herons swoop into the nesting area. The sand dunes are close by as is Highway 101 with a short drive to Coos Bay and ocean beaches. The house is clean, roomy, with comfortable beds, and exactly as described in the listing. It was nice to have a garage to park the car as the fir trees were dropping needles. There was an initial instance of contact with the owner which was swiftly addressed and they were very available during our stay. We would definitely stay there again!
