House Carolina is a very comfortable flat located in the centre of Genoa. The flat consists of a kitchen with dining area and relaxation area with sofa, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom with a bunk bed and a bathroom. House Carolina is very close to the Porto Antico, an area full of activities and restaurants; in fact you can visit the Aquarium, ride the panoramic lift (Bigo) and admire Palazzo San Giorgio, on whose façade is painted the Saint on horseback while killing an enormous dragon. From there it is a short walk to the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the Palazzo Ducale and Via Garibaldi, a Unesco World Heritage Site, along which it is possible to visit historical palaces, museums and residences of ancient Genoese noble families. About 1 km away is Corso Italia, the seaside promenade that reaches the small inlet of Boccadasse, which still retains the charm of the old fishing village. For those who want to start the day like a true Genoese, we recommend trying the focaccia 'pucciata' in cappuccino.
