The location is perfect. Ideal for the centre, beach, station and local shops. Its safe and secure in a complex. Its a good size apartment but there were only two of us. Levanto is a lovely place to stay
It was disappointing. The whole apartment needs attention. As we were travelling around Europe we needed a washing machine. We were told on arrival it was broken awaiting repair. We found a laundrette in town. Then we reported there was no iron. Was told it must have been stolen. There was insufficient hot water for two people to shower so I had to get wet then turn off and soap up before I rinsed off quickly before the cold water came through. The shower head would not stand up you had to hold it. The towel rail was hanging off we could not use it. The electric went off when we used the oven so we did not use that either. The garden was overgrown and the chairs were broken so we did not use the garden. Finally the parking. Yes it is free but it is not guaranteed and spaces are limited. We got a space so left our car there for 8 days. If you cannot park in the complex then parking nearby is 24 euros per day. Parking in Levanto is difficult. So really its a lot of small issues that could be easily rectified to make a great place to stay but to me it seemed neglected
