We spent 10 great days in the house. It is well equipped and good for 4 people.. Mastichari is just 10 min walk but I'm recommending to rent a car. The location was finally very convenient, since within 20 minutes it was possible to reach Kos and the best beach (between Kardamena and Kefalos) I have seen in Kos. The owner of the house, Nikos, was waiting for us and explained everything concerning the house and so.

The trip from the airport was quick and uncomplicated.
Very warm and friendly welcome by the host. Everything you need for your holiday is available in the house. Beautiful garden with many terraces and seating areas. All terraces are equipped with sun protection. We mostly sat on the terrace from where you can see the sea and the neighbouring island of Kalymnos.
The nearest shopping facilities are in Mastichari, about 1 kilometre away. Countless restaurants offer a wide selection.
The property borders directly on the road leading from Antimachia to Mastchari. So you have to accept a certain amount of traffic noise - it didn't bother us.
A huge oleander hedge bloomed towards the neighbour. The two rose bushes at the entrance to the house are also beautiful.
Very good - and also important: all windows and doors have insect screens. No mosquitoes, no spiders in the house - very good.
What you should really look out for: There are many ants on Kos. Also around the house. If you don't want to have a caravansary in the kitchen, you should regularly dispose of the rubbish - there is a container directly opposite on the other side of the street. We also swept the terrace after breakfast.

Loved the traditional character features. Amazing garden to enjoy with numerous seating places and fabulous views. Excellent location with just a ten minute walk into the village but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Great access to the local bus going to Kos town or the airport bus just outside on the road.
Due to flight delays we arrived hours later than expected but the owners still welcomed us at 1am and also came out to see us off the following morning. This is a delightful place to stay and I really hope that it will be available when I want to come again. I will definitely book extra nights to just enjoy being there.
There wasn’t anything to not like. It had everything required for a perfect stay if you love quaint traditional places. The only suggestion I could make would be to provide a kettle for English guests as we live making our tea. However we managed perfectly well boiling water in the pan.
