Loved the log burner!!
The property was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. I highly recommend it!

Spacious and very clean with everything you needed (tea towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, cooking oil, salt & pepper, bathroom towels and even a dog bed with blankets and towel for dogs, to name a few). The scones, jam and clotted cream were a very nice welcome gift (thank you) and a pint of milk in the fridge was also a nice touch. Location was ok (bit of a climb when going back after a day walking around as the property is on a slope). Buses (No. 12 especially) runs frequently and can be caught at the bottom of the road.
Bathroom and separate toilet were downstairs (which was annoying when you needed to get up during the night). The bathroom could do with an extraction fan when showering rather than having to open the window (just my opinion). Bedrooms were a lovely size. After reading other reviews, I was looking forward to a comfortable bed, but the double bed was very hard and uncomfortable and creaked like crazy when turning over or getting out of bed. On the other side of the coin, my son said that his bed was way too soft. In the kitchen, there was only one frying pan, so if cooking a full English breakfast, everything had to be cooked together (could do with just one more pan).
