We had a really lovely family stay at this beautiful holiday home, set in a great location. The property itself is well presented and made for a relaxing weekend. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches for families, such as the high chair and travel cot. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and feel it has the potential to be an excellent place to stay.
Our arrival was quite stressful after a long journey with young children, as there was no key in the lockbox and a mix-up meant other guests had been given access to the same property. Although this was eventually resolved, it delayed us getting settled. We also noticed some cleanliness issues, including dirty kitchen items and a very stained mattress topper in the main bedroom, and the use of multiple key boxes with the same code raised some security concerns. Additionally, while some child-friendly items were provided, a stair gate would have been a helpful addition.

Lovely bedrooms, really comfy beds, heating worked well throughout the house. Nice quiet location, we slept well! Well equipped kitchen, plenty of plates, cutlery, glasses etc and also good quality pots and pans so we were able to do lots of meals ourselves. Highchair was available too. Amazing main bathroom with a huge double (or more!?!) bathtub, and a big shower space too. Good stash of kids toys and books in the living room which kept our little ones entertained. Kids park within easy walking distance. Hottub outside was also an amazing added bonus!
There is essentially space for 8 adults to sleep (4 double bedrooms) but even as 5 adults and 2 children, we struggled to eat together in the kitchen/dining space, so just something to bare in mind if you're expecting to use this house in this way. Otherwise, it's a perfect space for a family or friends get-together!
Another warning that part of the driveway is super steep and only just accommodated our 3 cars, so again something to bare in mind with your party size.
