Excellent location for visiting peak district. Right down town. Near all necessary amenities like grocery store and restaurants. Rooms were inviting. Good instructions for any inside needs, appliances, heat, etc. Bed and furniture were comfy. Very quiet at night.

Local literature on desk outdated. Perhaps a check of desk contents needed to get more current brochures. We arrived and rooms we under 13C - it was cold in whole space. It took 1 day to get to 18C and yes, we were conservative about using utilities. Perhaps could have been remotely turned on, as it was very chilly on day we arrived. (Outside under 8C). Instructions for obtaining keys via lock box, not accurate. We did call about it, and infact keys were in different location, than instructions. Owner must own other properties (and should have asked which property we were at) because he told us we did something wrong or were at wrong address. We were not. Our concern though was we didn't anticipate 2nd and 3rd floor unit. We are both seniors with arthritis and so climbing up and down many times a day was a challenge. Bedrooms on top floor, with bathroom on 2nd, was an issue. Suggestion would be to have upper banister checked, as, it needs to be better secured. Especially when railing is only 4 feet high. It is wobbly at top landing. We later realized we were above a business, and they occasionally did something that made loud noises and the floor shake. We left a day early. Would have been nice of owner to offer refund.

The property was amazing. Very well maintained and presented with plenty of space. The location was convenient to transport options and for wandering around Buxton. The hosts communicated clearly and were very helpful.

I was disappointed that the washing machine wasn't in the apartment itself and that I only had a limited time window each day to use it.

The apartment was so conveniently located! Right in the heart of downtown Buxton and easy walking to just about anything. It was also very clean and perfectly stocked for a longer stay.

We loved the decor the cleanliness and the location.

The only improvement I would suggest would have been the addition of a welcome pack. Coffee and tea was provided however some milk would have been appreciated if in case of a late arrival.
