Location was great, the rooms were nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were always well cleaned and stocked and any extras required were delivered quickly. The pool and pool deck was always clean but too few lounge chairs and the pool closed too early at 7pm.
These are things that I noticed due to my profession and 95% of guests would not notice.
- During an area power outage, the emergency lighting within the lift/stair core from Level 1 up did not come on. As a result, I had to use my phone to be able to see and walk down the stairs. For a different guest demographic and in a real emergency, this could have been dangerous.
- In the basement car park, the sprinkler heads still have the construction period, orange protection clips fitted which means if a fire were to occur, the sprinklers would not actives until these protection clips melted. Not really a danger to guests, but I’m sure the Owner would prefer their asset is protected.
- The smoke alarm went off once (due I suspect to a smoker we could always smell), but the lifts continued to run when they should have grounded and been out of use.
It is a nice building with nice rooms and really nice staff, but just has some basic issues with Life Safety Systems seemingly missed at the end of construction. I advised the staff to their surprise during check out so hopefully these items will be actioned. I was also surprised to have to pay €15 per day for parking but this may have been me not checking during booking?

The staff were very helpful. Balcony overlooking sea and mountain was great and the swimming pool was fab!
Kitchen could have been a little better equipped.

The location- near beaches and restaurants, good sized room.
I’ve asked for our room to be cleaned so I put the sign out but it wasn’t done. I was expecting a nice clean room after a very long tour but was very disappointed. The next day I went to the reception specifically to ask for the room to be cleaned. Came back after a couple of hours to find out, they only folded the top sheet on the bed and changed the floor towel in the bathroom. The bed sheet wasn’t even changed and even the towels to my disappointment! There were already some dust and dirt accumulated on the floor due to the fact that we have to use our outside slippers. Such a shame as the hotel room is good and the location is amazing. They need to address daily housekeeping as advertise on their page. Also maybe a welcome water bottle in the room would be a nice touch. Hopefully this would improve as Montenegro is a beautiful country and it would be a shame that simple things like this would put us off in coming back.
