Studio 1 - Butty was refurbished including new kitchenette and shower room. The studio been designed in James' Place unique quirky style so you can sit back and soak up the atmosphere with the whole family as we are delighted to welcome children..
The sleeping accommodation consists of a separate bedroom with a comfortable double bed and 2 sofa beds in the living area. If 2 guests wish a twin set up this is a small additional charge for this to cover the cost of the additional linen. The shower room is new too, with soft towels, toilet roll and complimentary toiletries to save you the fuss of bringing with you. There is a flat screen Internet TV in the living room and bedroom plus free wifi through out the studio.
Outside there is a small terrace with a hot tub plus we are dog friendly. Bith incur a small fee
The new kitchenette has a comfortable place to eat, all the kitchenware needed for home cooking or alternatively the local area has restaurants and take aways to suit everyone's taste.
The Studio is on the ground floor and boasts the benefit of a private terrace that is reached from French doors in the double bedroom. This gives you an outdoor space to eat outside and enjoy the warm weather.
We are dog friendly in this studio by prior arrangement. There is a small charge for this service. We ask that you do not allow your canine friend onto the furniture.
You are also able to store your bikes in the studio providing they are clean.

The Butty studio was great - clean and tidy (and lovely and warm!) with thoughtful touches like a dog towel for muddy paws and biscuit treats as well as Welsh cakes for us. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were in a super location for seeing family locally. A fab base for a short break, thank you .

We stayed in the place in Dowlais Merthyr Tydfil the studio was very clean and the best part was it was dog friendly on arrival there was bowls supplied for the dog for water and also some treats left for the dog and nice Welsh cake for the humans, easy access to the property via a key box with code supplied on entry the place was warm and clean with all the things you need for your stay and a decking area just outside the back doors for the dog to roam around.

The place was finished to a high standard and was spotlessly clean. It felt homely and was the perfect place to chill out after a busy day hiking. Comfy bed, gorgeous terrace garden and a cosy lounge area.

Absolutely loved staying in the terraced studio with our dog. It was clean, warm and had everything you need for a nice break. Any questions we had were dealt with nice and quickly and the owners are really nice to deal with. Would certainly stay there again if we come back to the area
