I’ll just put it this way – this isn’t our first time here, and now Rhodes has become our go-to autumn destination for the school holidays, mainly thanks to these apartments. We plan our vacation dates according to when these apartments are available. It’s the best place in Lindos, and Lindos is the best place on Rhodes. I know what I’m talking about – we’ve stayed in other apartments in the town itself. Gallini offers an incredible combination of comfort, equipment, cleanliness, convenience, proximity to the sea, size, and price. It’s an amazing place. And the night view of the illuminated town and acropolis from the terrace is simply beyond words. We’re also very happy that the owner keeps making continuous improvements to the house – this time it looked completely different and much more modern.
We will be back and back again!
Perhaps the last area the owner hasn’t updated yet is the bathroom. It’s fine and functions well, but it might need a minor refresh. I think this is probably already on the owner’s plans.

Location and view from terrace was v good indeed. And the new shower room was to the standard one expects for the price. Beach is near and parking on the site was v useful given the crowds. Nice touch with bottled water and a pack of apple juice. But no salt , even in C19 sachets.
...but ...the furniture, fittings (other than the new shower room) and the bed was as if furnished, in hurry, from a clearance auction. Such a shame. It would not take much to make the experience of staying SO much better by some modern or even comfortable furniture, and less of it. It was too full. It felt like it was in limbo between a nice earner in the summer and a place of family residence in the winter. Slab panel cupboards of no style, old familiar settees with a disguising throw, one leg broken, etc.. And no control over the roof terrace light, one of which was inoperable. As I say....a typical greek approach which one eventually accepts, but with the evidence of the new shower room there is clearly a will to do better. Do it sooner and the place would be my favourite return!
