About this house rental

Close to hiking trails, mountain biking, and more, this family-friendly vacation home brings it all within reach. Jump into your car and make short work of the 21-minute drive to Train Station Square or the 23-minute drive to Strasbourg Christmas Market (and enjoy the property's convenient onsite parking in the meantime).

Relax in the hot tub (enjoy the outdoor furniture!) or sip a drink in the garden of this 1830-sq-ft vacation home. As for the great indoors, you can come inside and enjoy the free WiFi and TV.

This 2-bedroom rental features a sofa bed and a desk. Bathroom amenities include a hair dryer and towels. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a stovetop, and a refrigerator, as well as a coffee maker, an electric kettle, and a microwave. And thanks to the washer and dryer, you'll even be able to travel light.

We were looking for a quiet, beautiful place to wind down between time in Paris and Munich in the Strasbourg area and this gem was everything we hoped for: Large, clean, beautifully designed space, kind and helpful hosts, day trips to hike, expansive vistas in every direction. We cooked our meals in the well-appointed kitchen with fantastic local produce, cheeses and great bread you would expect from this region,enjoyed the hot tub, and were able to do our laundry. We couldn't more highly recommend this experience and look forward to coming back again soon.

This large, clean, modern apartment is mostly on the second floor (American) in a separate building from the owners’ house. The laundry, on the first floor, is shared with the owners. There’s a delightful covered outdoor seating area off the dining/living room. We didn’t use the hot tub, so can’t comment on that. Parking is also under cover. This was a great location for a quiet, relaxing stay, but there are very few businesses in Gougenheim. You have to drive a few minutes to an excellent bakery (Boulangerie Lutz), to the supermarket, and to restaurants. Strasbourg is a half hour away by car, Colmar is an hour.
