About this apartment rental
Our house is located in a charming little village 20 minutes from Strasbourg, 10 minutes from the wine route, which can serve as a starting point to many sights of Alsace.
The room with the swimming pool and its sauna / relaxation area, its green area, will make you spend a pleasant stay in the Alsatian countryside.
On the ground floor of our house, in a single-storey space accessible via an independent entrance, we offer a living room / bedroom of 28 m² with a double bed and a sofa bed, but also a cot for baby if necessary.
In this same space on one level, you will find your relaxation area: Washbasin, Shower, Wc closed and Sauna (32 m² with the corridor). The house has an outdoor pool covered by a dome, which can be used from May to October. Finally, you will have access to your greenery, if you want to relax other than around the pool.
For your breakfast, to buy fresh bread or pastries, you will find a bakery at 250 m / 3 min walk from the house.
The village also has a pizzeria, 280 m / 4 min walk from the house. It is open from 18h to 21h, from Thursday to Sunday.
In the surrounding villages, there are 5 supermarkets, all located between 7 and 11 km from the house (9 to 12 min by car).
For your meals, a number of restaurants are open in the surrounding villages (Nordheim, Fessenheim-le-Bas, Willgotheim, Schnersheim, Marlenheim, ...), all located between 2.5 and 5 km from the house (4 to 9 min by car).
On the heights of Kuttolsheim, you can walk in the vineyards, with a beautiful panorama of the village and its 12th century bell tower. In the streets of the town, you will discover pretty typical Alsatian farmhouse.
In the village next door, Nordheim (6 min by car and 25 min walk), you can walk on the hill, with the key a superb view of Strasbourg and its surroundings. You will discover in this village a farm to visit, with a playground, a park and a small snack service.
From Kuttolsheim, you are less than an hour's drive from a number of interesting tourist activities:
- Visit of the city of Strasbourg and Obernai,
- Visit of famous Alsatian village: Ribeauvillé, Hunawihr, Riquewihr ...
- Europa Park,
- Wine Route,
- Memorial of Alsace-Moselle,

The house has a parking place at your disposal, in our closed courtyard.

The property (located on 3 roads) exceeded our expectations. Modern and very clean apartment with attention to detail. The accommodation was cool in the hot weather. The pool and sauna were extras. The host was extremely friendly and always online to answer questions etc which was excellent. Very helpful. The village and surrounding area was lovely for trips out / walking and is close to Strasbourg. The accommodation would lose a point because it situated between 3 roads - so a little noisy at certain times of the day (traffic) and there was no big umbrella near the table on the patio - so far too hot to eat / sit at the table during the day without the shade of a big umbrella. Otherwise we would give the host top points for the accommodation and his hospitality. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay in the newly renovated apartment. Separate shower sink and toilet made it very flexible for a couple. The host provided information and welcomed us warmly. Very soothing decor.

We had a lovely time at this property. The pool was great and the location was also very nice. Joël was helpful and answered any questions we had. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend! Thank you!

Joël ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, er hat uns eine Liste mit allen Sehenswürdigkeiten und Geschäften der Umgebung gegeben und auch den Zugang zum Internet.
Trotzdem war die Unterkunft nicht sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Gras und die wildgewachsenen Brombeeren (unser Sohn und ich haben uns die Beine zergekratzt als wir auf dem Gartenweg liefen) wurde erst nach 1 Woche Aufenthalt gemäht und gekürzt, der Sandkasten von den Internetbildern muss schon seit langem ein Blumenbeet sein. Es gibt keinen durchgängigen Schutz um den Garten des Grundstückes, da es auf einem Berg liegt und sich die Hauptstrasse direkt 2-3 Meter darunter befindet ist es nicht kleinkindsicher.
Das Schlimmste waren die Betten, das Sofabett schrecklich, gewellt, keine gerade Matratze, ich musste diagonal darin schlafen (in einer Kuhle) damit ich halbwegs gerade liegen konnte, das andere Bett zum einsinken. Rückenschmerzen den ganzen Aufenthalt. Und am Ende die Krönung, Bettwanzen! Sohn und Ehemann (im versink-Bett geschlafen) zerstochen von oben bis unten, anfangs dachten wir Mücken, aber nachdem Antimückenspray und 2 Antimückenstecker nichts hilfen, war klar es war etwas anderes. Gesucht, gefunden: Bettwanzen!
Jöel hat sofort reagiert, hat uns gebeten zu gehen und hat wohl einen Profi ans Werk gelassen, die Reise endete sehr plötzlich 2 Tage früher und auf Anfrage hat er uns statt den 2 Nächten 3 erstattet. Er war sehr besorgt!
Der Pool war der Hammer und wir hatten trotz alledem einen tollen Urlaub!
Fazit: Für den Preis von €1500 für 13 Nächte verdient man sich wenigstens ein bequemes Bett um sich im Urlaub zu erholen.
