About this apartment rental
A beautiful two-bedroom apartment set in a small complex with a modern bar, restaurant, pool, and mini golf, offering views across the orange groves towards the mountains and coast. Our apartment is situated on the prestigious urbanisation of Monte Pego at the top of a pine-covered hillside, providing a tranquil location with stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The apartment is modern, family-owned, spacious, and built in a traditional whitewashed Spanish style.
The accommodation sleeps four people (plus one child in a cot or under five) and comprises:
- Bedroom 1: Double bed, ample storage, quality bed linen, and a view of the pool.
- Bedroom 2: Two single beds (can be made into a queen bed), storage, quality bed linen, and views of the terrace, orange groves, and mountains.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, toaster, and kettle.
The living/dining room features an L-shaped sofa, Spanish television with English channels, a DVD player, and a dining table with four chairs.
The bathroom includes a toilet and a bath/shower with a whirlpool bath.
Fans are provided in all bedrooms and the living/dining room.
Outside, there is a large covered terrace with a table and four chairs for alfresco dining, as well as a barbeque. All towels are provided.
The apartment is located approximately halfway between Alicante and Valencia airports, each about 90 km away and accessible via the motorway. The complex is about 5 km from the village of Pego, 15 km from Denia, and 20 km from Javea. A car is essential. The large communal pool is open from mid-June until early September, with a lifeguard on duty during peak summer. Monte Pego is an excellent base for exploring the breathtaking scenery of the mountains, valleys, rivers, lakes, and a nearby nature reserve.

Pros: Vi bodde 4 personer i lägenheten i 10 dagar. Trevlig lägenhet där allt fungerade jättebra samt trevligt bemötande vid ankomst och på mail. Det är en mil till havet (ca 20 min i bil) nerför svindalande vägar i bergen men när man väl är framme är det en fantastiskt fin sandstrand. Om man inte vill åka till havet så finns en väl tilltagen pool i området, ca 2 minuters promenad från lägenheten. Trevlig poolområde med en liten bar. VI var ofta själva vid poolen och annars var det ändå väldigt lugnt. Det vi saknade i lägenheten var ett större kylskåp med frys; eftersom det är lika långt till en supermarket som till havet ville vi helst inte känna att vi behöver handla varje dag men eftersom kylen var så liten kunde vi knappt fylla upp den för mer än 1 eller max 2 dagar åt gången. Vi saknade också en AC. Det var outhärdligt varmt på eftermiddagarna och nätterna även med alla fläktar igång. De färre stjärnorna beror på avsaknaden av AC.
