About this farm stay rental
The Mas Catalpa, built in 1824: Beautiful traditional Mas, 220sqm, with high-quality, modern facilities for 8-10 guests. Magnificent view, footpath to the Ardèche along vineyards, 6 minutes by car to Ruoms (shopping, stroll); Pool 9x4.5m, outdoor shower, 2000sqm garden with various relaxation areas. Furnished with passion and great attention to detail.
The former horse changing station and winery has its north-west side in the hamlet of Auriolles along the village street and its the south-east side (courtyard and garden) directly in the vineyards. Breathtaking views of Mont Sampzon and the surrounding orchards. A few minutes' walk to bathing spots by the Ardèche and Chassezac, 3 minutes by car to the beautiful beaches of La Beaume.
FIRST FLOOR (the ground floor contains the former wine cellars and stables):
- In front of the entrance, a covered terrace with a table for 6 and a very large balcony.
- Spacious kitchen with semi-professional equipment: 5-flame gas stove with wok burner and 3 electric ovens, side-by-side refrigerator, extra-wide stainless steel sink, full extension drawers, Kenwood food processor, carbon steel wok, ham slicer, espresso machine and much more.
- Cozy tea corner in front of the wood stove in the huge ancient fireplace.
- 35sqm living and dining room with 126cm flat screen TV (Samsung; streaming services available), leather sofa, armchairs, XXL dining table, leather chairs. Original cement tiles from around 1910. Teufel hifi station with AirPlay and Bluetooth, Playstation.
- Fast WiFi throughout the house thanks to a fiber optic connection.
- Bedroom 1: The Green Room. Double bed 160 x 200 cm with electr. slatted frame, desk, armchair, antique wardrobe. All bedding is of high quality and includes cotton and linen sheets.
- Bedroom 2: The Star Room. Double bed 160x200cm, sitting area, desk, closet.
- Bathroom with double washbasin, shower, toilet, bidet, electr. towel heater.
UPPER FLOOR:
The charming staircase in the kitchen leads to the upper floor, the former barn, with its beautiful exposed stone walls.
- Bedroom 3: The Stone Room. Double bed 160x200cm, wardrobe, large seating area.
- Large living room with a teenager's corner (2 new daybeds with high-quality mattresses), sofa area (leather sofa and armchair) and reading and snuggling cave with toys for children as well as Sonos sound station (Airplay, Bluetooth) and football table.
- Bedroom 4: The Copper Room. 2 single beds 80x200cm, clothes storage and additional wardrobe area.
- Bathroom 2: vanity with waterfall fittings, shower, electrical heater
IN THE CELLARS (CAVES):
- Bosch Washing machine, Bosch dryer, additional refrigerator for supplies and drinks.
- Bicycle storage room with washing area for mountain bikes available.
- Additionally: beach towels, beach mats, hiking backpack with cooling function, beach toys.

While on the upper terrace you can occasionally hear passing cars or winegrowers' tractors, it is always quiet in the inner courtyard.

Mas Catalpa is ideally suited for groups of married couples and families with children from school age. Less recommended for smaller children since the property is not fenced.
We recommend climbing, hiking, racing bikes and MTB rides in autumn and spring, and swimming in the three nearby rivers and canoe tours in summer.
Another highlight: The Mas Catalpa treasure hunt for all children from 6-7 years - included free of charge!
On request we can organize wine tastings, babysitters, private chefs and much more for you.

Région magnifique, beaucoup d'activités à proximité et la piscine très agréable, dommage que la bâche de protection ne soit pas automatique. La chaleur exceptionnelle de cette année nous a fait regretter le manque d'ombre naturelle. Les propriétaires sont très attentionnés et très réactifs. Petit bémol: la route très passagères proximité. Très heureux de notre séjour dans cette superbe maison et région.

La maison est grande et contient tous les équipements possibles. Bien adaptée pour 8 à 10 personnes. La piscine est top avec une superbe vue.
